    Long essay that takes on the convoluted issues surrounding cultural diversity, quality, and value. Discusses some of the work done at the Hypertext HotelMOO by women in HiPitched Voices. Originally published in Readerly/Writerly Texts, Summer, 1996. The version appearing here was revised in 1998 for publication in the online journal PreText ElectraLite. It includes a sample excerpt from the Voices wing of Hypertext Hotel.

  • Buzz-Daze Jazz
    Discusses creativity using excerpts from Quibbling to explain the notion of "Buzz-Daze." The version here was an MLA talk given in 1992 as part of the panel "Hypertext, Hypermedia: Defining a Fictional Form." An adapted version appeared in Interface Three, edited by Klaus Peter Dencker, Kulturbehorde, Hamburg, Germany. Winter 1997.
